SA INFLUENCERS AT PARIS WORKSHOP
Converse sponsored two South African influencers to attend their Ambassador Workshop on the 3rd March 2017
JOHANNESBURG (March, 27, 2017)- In true Converse fashion, the celebrated sneaker brand coupled an ambassador workshop with a party of epic proportions, that perfectly coincided with Paris’ 2017 Fashion Week.
And who better to represent South Africa there than style mavens Fhatuwani Innocent Mukheli and DJ Doowap.
The pair’s luxury trip commenced with Business Class travel and a spot of pre-party shopping and site seeing sporting their complimentary Converse gear.
The VIP treatment continued with being chauffeur-driven to the party’s mystery location. The two SA reps were met with gin cocktails before all was revealed.
“It turned out to be this incredible venue with long doors and high ceilings,” Fhatuwani reminisces, “and the first thing I saw on entering was an amazing chandelier made of white ‘70s chucks.”
Networking with other unique influencers from all over the world and customizing their very own pair of Chucks were just a couple of the highlights for the attendees.
“I loved the melting pot of ethnicities and the kind of people featuring and representing the brand,” says DJ Doowap, “it made me feel proud to be a part of the brand during such a milestone.”
The after party took place at a Silencio, which is one of the hottest clubs in France conceived by film director David Lynch (best known for the ‘90s hit TV show Twin Peaks) and frequented by many an infamous celeb.
